Raj Shekhar

Raj Shekhar is an Indian lyricist who made his Hindi film industry debut with the 2011 box office success “Tanu Weds Manu.” His recent success from the movie ‘Animal’ for ‘Pehli bhi mein’, ‘Marham’, ‘Papa meri jaan’ won him many accolades and praises.

He went on to write lyrics for other notable films including Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Tumbbad, Veere Di Wedding, Hichki and Uri: The Surgical Strike. Known for his versatility, Raj Shekhar has penned many catchy songs in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Good Luck Jerry, Mismatched 2, and Nazar Andaaz amongst many.

His recent songs like ‘Aise Kyun’ and ‘Chalte Raho’ have been received very well by the masses as well giving his penned songs a whooping 14M+ listenership on spotify monthly.
